2008 Club111 Calendar now available! - LotusTalk

Attention everyone, the 2008 Club111 wall calendar is now available for ordering at our CafePress store!

Many thanks to zOOmz for all the hard work she put in, it really couldn't have happened without her. She gathered the images and did the work needed to get them to conform to the printing guidelines. Also, thanks to everyone who donated photos for the calendar, we really appreciate your generosity.

As in past years, all proceeds from the calendar will go towards Club111. The primary use of funds has been to help pay for club insurance. Even if you live in an area without an active Club111 presence, keep this in mind next time you throw together a group drive or other event where liability could be a concern. If you can organize this as an official Club111 event, you'll get the benefits of the insurance. You'll find it also opens up new possibilities for places to hold events (businesses often require insurance if you want to use their parking lot, for example). Just start a thread in the Club111 section of LotusTalk if you want to explore this option.

Cost is $19.99 plus shipping.

Just a little side note. On the December page, the snowflakes that are in the background are from photos of real snowflakes, not fake ones.

And the ornament is from a photo from UglyDuck that I turned into an ornament. hehe

I got my calendar yesterday and was surprised to see it was spiral bound instead of stapled. I apologize to Travis (Vulcan Grey) and Thomas (Thomasio) if your titles were too close to the spiraling.

But the photos look really good overall.
