Possible December N.E./ Mid Atlantic Event - LotusTalk

Hot on the heels of the BBQ in Sherman this past weekend.............

Modern Wedgie (Lillie) will be in the mid atlantic/ Northeast area from December 10th to the 19th. She is, if you didn't know, the sec. for Club111 (National) and is also a very active member of the boards. Club 111 is planning an event for the 5th of karting but I'd also like to do something when Lillie is in our neck of the woods. Any ideas?

How about a Holiday Party and Maybe we can do a secret Pollyanna (sp)?

Actually, I can tell you that the weekend of the 11th I'm busy (the only time my friend in DC has off, and she's not a car nut), and saturday night the 18th is no good for an Xmas party with the family in NY.

I'll be in DC beginning the 10th, and I'll make my way to NY city sometime that week where I fly out from. I might go visit some friends in Cape Cod that week if I have time. But I dont really have plans for that week yet. I have to by in NYC (or nearby) saturday and sunday.

I do love holiday parties. The SELOC boys are sad that I wont be joining them this year. Those parties were certainly good times that I dont remember but were fortunately (or unfortunately in some instances) caught on tape.

So if any of you NE guys have some time to spare, and can fit something into my crazy schedule, I would love to meet up with you. Even if only for a pint some evening after work.

I have an idea. We could gather at the Valley Forge Brewing Company. That's where the Philly chapter of the SCCA has it's monthly meetings. It's just a minute or two west of K of P mall. They have pretty good ale.

Here's what I've come up with. The Saturday (22nd?) @ Valley Forge Brewing Co. in Valley Forge Pennsylvania for a beer and snack at 6:00 p.m.

Then our holiday party will be December 18th at 11:00 am with, and this is to be confirmed, a tour of Hunting Ridge Motorsports followed by a drive to Old Saybrook and a early afternoon lunch/ dinner dock side at a seafood restaurant. Modern Wedgie will be in town and will be attending. We'll also have a secret Pollyanna gift exchange.
