SCCA Nationals
Hi all, we're a couple of months away from the SCCA nationals. I'm trying to get a feel for how many etalkers and club111 people are going to be here. We had a get together last year and I would very much like to repeat that. Yes, I'll make the Curry again for Robert Puertas and more beer for Reto (Conefusion) this year
![]() Cheers,

So I have a reputation for being a drinker now
, just because I happened to notice that you were running out of beer? ![]() I plan to be there! Hopefully with my own tow vehicle and trailer by then. I'm not sure yet how long I'll stay beyond the days we're running. My best guess would be arriving on Monday, leaving on Thursday.

I'll be there, but I'll probably bring the Miata instead. The idea of leaving the Elise out in a hotel parking lot for a week kind of freaks me out. Besides, I'll be driving on street tires anyway, since I'm just there to see my brother compete. Either way I'll finish DFL.

So you're going to run, Babak? Cool. I thought I'd have to twist your arm. Having a lot of Elises show up will be good in many different ways. Aside from the fun factor and the partying, it might be helpful for future classing considerations. There's much more incentive for favorable classing of a car if the owners actually show up at events.
BTW, if you need some practice, we have a Divisional event at Forbes in August.

I'll show up, I was under the impression that in order to compete you must have competed in so many local divisional events. Needless to say I simply suck. I heard about the aug event. There is another local event mid july but I'm on call that weekend so there goes that.

You have to pay a premium if you have not competed in a Divisional or National Tour.
You also have to be an SCCA member. http://www.scca.com/Event/Event.asp?Ref=05-solo-champ http://www.scca.com/_FileLibrary/Fil...sEntryForm.pdf $100 entry fee $75 waiver fee if not attended a tour or divisional
