First concept on the web design. Needs nav + content layout. This is just a general concept. What do you guys think? Comments / suggestions welcome!

Steve,

Very fresh & bright design!

As a laptop user I'm usually at 800x600 when I'm travelling, but when docked at 1280x1028. So, I'm in favor of 800x600.

My final comment isn't aimed at you but to this group, we need to have an "official" Club111 logo, that way the Club111 look will be consistent from the webstie, membership cards, newsletter, etc.

Kiyoshi, thx for the feedback. I'll keep it at 800x then.... I hadn't considered notebooks. I agree about the logo. If someone else wants to supply logo artwork, I'll be happy to use it. This is just some funky typeface in lieu of having an actual logo to work with. If you guys want me to put together some designs for a final logo (maybe something iconographic), I'll be happy to do that too. Just let me know!

Looks like the car's driving right out of my monitor - love it! (Although I have Ardent on order) Great design and I'm no ammachure at this. Very cool.

Thanks a great start Steve.

Might want to make the top a bit more compact as it seems to dominate the page. Also, modify it a bit to mesh a bit better with our logo, which I am e-mailing to you. I believe this is the latest one from my correspondance with Neil (Little Bastard), but you might ask him to be sure. You seem to have gone the 3D route, and our logo is definitely a 2D type thing, so I'll leave it to you to decide what needs to be done. A more flat looking page may be the way to go.

Nice, clean look...great start! I'm not a big fan of the font used for the Club111 text, but it sounds like that's just a placeholder.

My intention is to make the car's color changeable via a dynamic stylesheet selection once the site is completed. That way, you can have the site match your Elise!

I was hoping you'd say that!

FWIW, I like the font you've used. I think it's a nice "modernization" of the Elise script. How does it look with the ".net" attached? Having the skecth sillouette next the picture of the Elise is gonna look kinda dorky IMHO.
