Air bag cable
I'm in the quest to disable my air bag light. Both airbags and and the seatbelt tension adjusters have been removed. The plan is to place 3.3 ohm resistors where each of these four once connected.
Problem is that I can not locate the cable (SRS harness?) for the driver's airbag. A removable hub was placed by someone else, and I have not been able to trace it down. I did get a good drunk feeling from standing on my head under the steering column though. Can anyone direct me as to where this cable/harness would connect to the wiring? Second question: if the quest fails to place the 4 resistors, is it possible to remove the instrument cluster and merely assassinate the idiot light source directly? ![]()
