Alarm issue. Help! - LotusTalk

Right after I push the button the doors lock then a continues beep goes off until i hit button again. I have gone through several pages here and tried everything I read. Maybe I missed something?

The courtesy light is down. I pushed it up and then in the middle and down again to make sure it was engaged all the way down.

I looked at the trunk switch and manually held it down an tested same results then I looked at each of the panel switches and did the same test as well.

Is there anything else to look at? Any other ideas? If I take this into the dealer would this be covered under warranty?

Ya that is one of the post I read. Nothing in there seems to work. That does seem so have all the options I can think of. Guess its time for me to take it in

Call the mechanic first - see what he suggests before you make the drive!

Mine did that - nothing I tried would stop it from beeping and then the alarm going off.

Putting the interior light in the up position made it stop - go figure....
