Dashboard Locked

I have an 08 Exige S with performance pack ..

Driving home today my dash locked, the rev counter, speedo, all the digital counters, even the indicator, showing left, just hung !! ..

Even after turning the car off, the dash is still on and locked !!

I've looked up resetting the "rev and speedo", removing the c3 fuse, pressing the mileage reset for 20 seconds etc, but no joy ! ..

Any ideas how to reset the cluster ?

Many thanks

From the 05-07 manual, not sure if the 08 is different

• Open driver‘s door;
• Press and hold trip reset button on steering column shroud;
• Turn on ignition.

it sometimes takes a few tries

Instrument Reset; 1) open door 2) hold reset button in 3) insert key into ignition, turning to II position quickly

Thanks for coming back so quick, but ..

That was similar to the suggestion in the manual, but with the added removal of the C3 fuse first ! .. Just tried it again without the fuse bit, sorry no luck .. Tried it quick and a few times !

Any other ideas

i checked the 08 is the same, it'll show the version number if it worked.

should be Ver.0.08 or better.
