dim brake lights

Passenger side.. Thought it was out, so I pulled the bulb and saw that in fact, the liights were only dim.. I switched the bulbs out with the driver's side bulbs as a test, and it appears that the issue is not with the bulbs, but somewhere else.

Looks like the passenger side brake lights are getting some (small amount of) power, but not enough to be visible without looking at the bulbs direcrtly.

All other lamps work fine, as does all in-car electrical... Any ideas?

measure the voltage at the socket in the contact side. should be 12v, check for corrision on the contacts, loose wire, poor grounding, probably not a short if the others are fine.

Check the security of the ground connection(s) first. Fiberglass cars can present unusual challanges when it comes to grounding light circuits.

Is it possible you have the bulbs in incorrectly? My 365 use to be temperamental with the way the bulbs were placed in the socket.
