Dual Fog/Driving Lights?

Has anyone looked into or thought of these?

PIAA 510 Series Fog/Driving Lights
http://www.autobarn.net/xxx516series.html

They are dual Driving and Fog lights. You can possibly relay them to the exisitng lights so when the parking lights are on you can relay them for fogs and when the High beams are on you can relay to the Brights.

Just a thought. What do you guys think?

You do know that those are two different kind of rather expensive lights don't you? PIA5161 fog lights, or PIA5164 driving lights (with blue tinted bulbs that actually reduce the amount of light output). I think they are expensive at $210 for either type - and you have to figure out how to mount/install/wire them. They are also kind of large (4 inches in diameter).

If you want fog lights, I mounted a set of Hella Micro DE Fog Lights in my Miata's grill - they are about 2.5 inches in diameter and very light. Great fog lights for $140 (I have them wired as DRLs on my black Miata).

The Hella Micro DE Driving Light version is a bit expensive at $700 however...

I'll wait to see how much the factory lights are...

Sorry I posted the wrong lights. I saw somewhere round driving lights that were dual purpose. I thought those were them. Now I need to find what they were. They looked like the stock driving ights but had a dual set up.

Scottyb, again these are kind of too big for the opening as they are 4" in diameter but they can work if you want them to. Its your decision.

Four inches in diameter. LED light around the real light? Can you say "Bling bling"?

What was the diameter of the lights you placed?

I think they are 2" or 2 1/4" but do what you think is best for your car!. I picked these because I wanted something small, if you like the ones with the BMW look to them than do those, its all about you!
