Headlight and lamp light out

Add me to the list of people with random headlight problems.

My driver's side headlight and the small lamp bulb are out. The high-beam works just fine. I've checked the fuses and the switch panel with no luck. Any ideas? Obviously there could be a problem at the lamp assembly itself, but I didn't want to have to take it apart again if I can help it.

I thought I'd check here quickly to see if anyone else had a similar issue before I jump in.

(That being said, I had never taken the switch panel off before and it ended up being more work than it would have been to start with the headlight assembly!)

Check fuse F17 and bulb connector, if that is OK then the problem may be in the Switch Pack Module.

Well, I replaced the headlight and the mini bulb (actually led) and they work. I find it suspect that they both went out at the same time, especially since the headlight didn't have that many hours. I guess I'll know to look at the switch pack if it happens again.

Now I have to remember where I ordered the LED since now I had to replace it with the old filament bulb and they don't match. :P
