LCD display

Hello all!

Quick question....after running on the track and getting my 08 exige nice and hot, I noticed that the red display below the speedometer begins to "wash out" from the heat and becomes garbled and unreadable. It gets so bad that I cant read how much fuel I have left. When the car cools off, the gauge cluster is completely readable again. Curious if anyone else has this issue or has any suggestions.....I couldnt find if this has been discussed already....

Its better than the 2007 dashes which would just stop working all together.

I wonder if a sheet of window tint over it would help, i know it'll reduce visibility, but reduction is better than nothing.

Maybe a small fan cut into the side would be even better.

I have an 08 and mine does it too... If I park it in a hot GA parking lot for an hour it washes out, then comes back again when the car has cooled... I just hope that it doesn't cause damage to it... It won't will it?

unlikely i think the liquid crystals are just boiling/too hot, they just cool down.
