Locked in

Has anyone else had this? Since pretty much day one (last week), I am unable to use my interior handle to open the driver's side door. The passenger's side is fine. I have gone though all the remote/key/console switch permutations, and am still stuck inside...unless I roll down the window and open the door from the outside.

DISCLAIMER: I have indeed RTFM; either it's not in there or my reading comprehension is at preschool level.

You're not allowed out of the car until you complete the break-in procedure. Keep driving!

I've noticed more than a few people have had problems with their doors/windows etc. One thing you don't want to do is mess with the mechanism in the door that grabs the post. It will render your door unclosable (if thats a word) and you will have to remove your door panel to shut it again.

This happened to me and then it just fixed itself. I believe valet jacked up the alarm because now it randomly goes off, in my garage with nothing around!

Interior light switch is in the wrong possition, should be down and it's probably in the middle possition.

You'll know it's on the right possition because when you open the door the interior lights up.

On the door thing, try opening with the door switch in front of the shifter. Otherwise take it to your dealer.

Only thing the key does (when "locking" with it) is disconnect the outside door buttons from the mechanism. It has no effect on the interior handles.

HA! This has got to be the best set of completely not helpful answers I have ever read! (Pinmagic, I thought yours was the best, fyi)
Anyway, I'll add one more to the list - maybe you're meant to practice climbing in and out of the window Dukes of Hazard style for a while...after a few tries at doing that, you can then climb in the *normal* way using the doors...and then you'll NEVER complain about how hard it is to get in and out of!

I just got mine and within 300 miles had the same problem.
I found pulling on the plastic "handle" on the top of the door while pulling door release alowed it to engage and open.
Of course it was 97 degrees when it first happened and it took time to figure out.
