Orange backlight

The light behind the speedometer and tachometer. Someone asked me the other day if it would/could be changed to a different color. Or is it the plastic itself that gives it the orange hue?

yeah - its the lamps and the stencile that gives (in my car at least) that lame off white yellowish color. no easy way to change it. you can dim it withthe button by the key ignition. but thats about it.
