Transmission Ground

I recently had the transmission replaced under warranty. I have been having some troubles starting the car & it's not the battery. Can someone tell me where the ground is on the transmission? Pictures would be awesome, if you have any.

Thanks for reading.

search...ground, transmission, cable, starter, battery, loose, crank, turn over, jump, jumper

The ground is on the front(firewall) side of the tranny. If you are going for it from the top, the intake tube will be in the way. It is probably easier to drop the mid pan...then you can't miss it. It's a large braided metal cable with a 17mm bolt holding it on the trany case and a 13mm nut holding it to the ground junction on the firewall. I would also check the battery cable at the starter...12mm nut to verify that it is tight.

Perfect, thank you. I'll check it from underneath.

Much obliged!

Can someone look up the size of the bolt that holds the ground to the transmission?

Thanks!

The bolt was missing, so I had to go to the hardware store to pick one up. I was actually curious what size thread it was, how long, etc.

I found one that worked through trial & error.
