whats the difference MIO 220 vs 310x

is it just the mp3? all i want is a easy to use gps. thanks carl

here you go carl, the 310 is discontinued

get it from frys or costco then you can return it if you don't like it, the 310 is discontinued , our local frys is selling the smaller mios for $198

I have both..the gps on the 220 doesnt work as well as the 310x, it takes you way out of the way sometimes and doesnt have as many POI's as the 310x...I have put both in the same car at same time to test this..Im not sure if there is an update for the the 220 that I didnt get or something but it sucks...

I believe the Mio 310x map updates are due to be released in July.......

Hopefully, the update due this month doesn't bring the 310 to the same level of dysfunctionality as the 220.

I've been very happy with my Garmin Vista. I've had it for years, used for camping, trekking, etc and now with a simple suction cup mount, for road travel. I think you'll like the Garmin quality.
