Speaker advice needed--please

I've searched and read post after post and still can't decide what speakers to buy for my new install. Have purchased an Alpine PDX-5 amp and JL Audio Sub 10" that will be housed in a carbon fiber box between the seats on the rear shelf. Am trying to decide what speakers to use in the front and rear. Have thought about JL Audio Evolutioin C2's 4" in the front and 5.25 in the rear. Also considered buying Jim's ring adapters and also using 5.25's in the front but am worried the C2's might not fit up there. Or Infinity Kappas, or Polks, Focals or MB Quarts. Bottom line, I don't know what I want and am not smart enough to decide. Any suggestions what would fit/sound best with this amp? Don't mind spending more to get a better set up. Just need to get something so I can take the car to the installer. Thanks in advance for any help!

Size is not always the best way to go. We build custom systems and use only Alpine and JL. You can check out our website to see exactly what we use.

It took us two years of testing with different head units, amps and speaker brands and sizes to finally find a complete system that matches the Lotus interior resonating needs.

We have tested the most expensive to the mid price range speakers and have concluded that the very small increase of performance from the highest price speakers does not out weigh the extreme price difference.

This is only our opinion based on our engineering experience and actual testing results.

Good luck and enjoy your system

In my elise now owned by jmieese so he can chime in also. I did a alpine head unit, mbquart 5.25" all around, jl amp mounted in boot and jl stealthbox. I loved the sound and it absolutely jammed.

Here is a link to the install thread. I had a place put it in and they nicked the windshield but over all the sound was amazing...
Huh... Huh...
