The Great North American Food Tour I via Elise

i love to eat and drive fast; although may not be at the same time. as some of you know, i'll be picking up my first Elise in Fresno on 7/3 and driving it back to the east coast. i'd like all you elise owners to help me with your fine dinning spots on my way; from a hole in the wall to 5-star establishments or even odd places. please post the spots and the curvy roads getting there. the states i'll be in are CA, AZ, UT, NM, CO, KS, MO, KY, TN, NC, VA, MD from 7/3 to 7/13.

reading the GA run and the Noble run, i think randy chase is one of the authorities on cross country driving. i would love some advice on the trip also.
