Lol, I'll represent from another point of view.

One CD to listen to from first to last song?

Wu Tang Clan (36 chambers)
Outkast (Southernplayalistic... AND ATLiens)
Snoop Doggy Dogg (DoggyStyle)
Dr. Dre (The Chronic)

And from other genres
Guns N Roses (Appetite for Destruction)
Blink 182 (Enema of the State)

I grew up in the era of hip hop emergence and watched you mtv raps and rap city religously, and even liked the cronic at that point in my life. These two albums just dont do it for me. Hip hop is suposed to be about urban strugle not gin and juice. I am right there with you on the Wu though...

You youngsters...

I used to have to worry about which 8-track tape to take. A pile of CDs is nothing...

For the most part I can't hear my radio because of my exhaust (which is fine with me) but this is one of the songs on the CD I have in now...

Rush - Signals

Even though it is really short, and would repeat a lot. I can definitely listen to that album all day and be fine with it.

One of the first things I did when picking up my exige last October was to put in a mp3cd of Led Zeppelin songs. 2000 miles later, the disc is yet to leave the player. I'm considering a Zeppelin only rule....

If we're defining the rules as a CD version of an archive in it's original form, I'd have to pick the Beatles 'Abbey Road' (and if you damn kids haven't heard this yet, you have yet to discover what music is - especially side two, if you even know what that means).

Of course moods change, so I'm just as likely to pick any of the following:
ANYTHING from the Steely Dan catalogue.
Jellyfish 'Spilt Milk'
King's X 'Ear Candy'
Berlin Philharmonic's Mozart 5th String Concerto
Stevie Wonder's 'Original Musiquarium'
Henry Mancini's 'Days of Wine and Roses'

But playing strictly by the rules, again, Beatles 'Abbey Road'.

Comfort Eagle-Cake has the most plays from the CD's on my computer, I'm going to go with that one...Disk one of Stadium Arcadium though would be a close second

That's one I didn't think about. Very re-listenable.
