Place to stay in San Francisco...
Hi guys and girls
Wow, it's been a longtime since i've even logged in to the forum. I hope you all are doing well. I still don't have a Lotus but I am taking a road trip to San Fran at the end of the month with a couple friends to attend the big music festival at the Golden Gate park (outside Land). It's going to be freaking amazing. Anyways, I was wondering if anybody knew an affordable place to stay around that area, or had any recommendations etc? We will be there from the 28th - 30th (heading back to San Diego on 30th night). Anyways, thanks in advance for the help. Hopefully I will see some of you northerners in SF. cheers Neil PS: This is really Neil not someone logged in as him lol

Hey Neil,
Have you checked out rec's on Yelp ? San Francisco Travel SF is such a big destination city, there are tons of options depending what area you want to stay, what you consider to be affordable, and so on. Have fun, SF is a great place.

I know that Hotwire has some great deals for the city. (They are a client of mine and I reserved a hotel for my mum while she was in town a few weeks ago....(4 star hotel with great location for like $80 a night..) If you want, can reach out to them for you.. Let me know.. Stan

Had heard Tenacious D was a last minute fill in (think it was the Beastie Boys that dropped out). Out of curiosity took a look at the line up. Lots of great groups, are you going to be there for all three days? Even on a regular weekend, parking can be tough in and around the Golden Gate Park. Might want to look at staying somewhere within walking distance.
Might want to double check the 25% discount these guys, are giving: San Francisco's Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival - August 28-30, 2009 Last edited by LarryB : 08-11-2009 at 10:13 AM. |
