No kidding! I hope he slept well last night! Im meeting up with him in about 4-5 hours. We want to give him a goody pack (i.e. sandwich...snacks...no doze...etc) but I don't know if he will have any room in the car. For those of you who are heading to the dragon's tail today...cya soon!

Why you dont just come through St. Louis and get the car serviced there then proceed on to Topeka and hang around for all the upcoming driving events is beyond me...

Have a good trip, and I want to see those photos real-time from the car transmitted via a wireless to a hosting server...

Had a big disappointment today, just out the door this AM to head for ATL, pager goes off, unfortunately had some problems with new systems install in the cath lab, even tho, I"m just a nurse I've more/less inherited responsibilities so that's where I spent my day instead of hanging out with Randy, what a drag.

Left a message at LCU, but apparently Randy didn't get it as they called LOA to see if I was there,

Oh well.
Know they had fun!

Chris, (Zvezdah), sorry to hear you couldn't make it. Randy and Mick showed up in Blairsville and we headed to the Dragon's Tail a little late. Had a great time and got to know my car a little better. Yellow with LSS is awesome!!! We got some great pics! I am trying to post a few but they are too large. Can anyone help? Randy is headed west right now and I am tired from the relatively short drive myself. EliseRoadTrip is a great idea but I'm beat from just driving tonight!

What a fun afternoon. I met Randy and Jim at LCU and we head first over to LOA to try and reach Chris. From there we went north, through Dahlonega to Blairsville, stopped at Dan's house then continued to the Gap where I got to ride with Randy. After that I headed back to Atlanta, arriving home at 11:30 PM.

I can think of only two words to describe how fast an LSS Elise is on a tight and twisting road like Deal's Gap:

HOLY $HIT!!!!

I've driven the Gap more times than I can remember and I've never seen or experienced anything take it faster, including the crotch rockets that are there all the time. The Elise is truly 'scary fast'. Brakes like a boat anchor. Grip like super velcro. Smooth, torquey acceleration. Wow. I can't wait for mine to arrive!
