A GREAT Breakfast and a 2 hour morning drive on your Favorite Lotus Roads!

You have the rest of the day free to go back to your chores (mowing the lawn, watching the TV, changing diapers, whatever.....)

Those of you who are more daring, the entire Santa Monica Mountains can be your playground AFTER the drive. I know the roads, including ones most of you don't know! Please join Terry and I for a RoadTrip!

DATE: Saturday, February 16th
TIME: 8:30 AM for breakfast
10:00 AM for drive...
BREAKFAST: at TERRI'S CAFE, 30135 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills
DRIVE: Starting Point is at Chuy's/Islands Parking Lot, S.W. corner of Kanan Road and Agoura Road.
WHA'S HAPPENIN'?: A nice 2 hour drive on the BEST Lotus Roads in the Santa Monica Mountains. This will include awesome views of mountain and coastal vistas, AND Rock Store AND LA TUNA CANYON!!! WOW!

This "drive" will be "PASSENGER FRIENDLY" and, although there will be some spirited driving, THIS is the one to take your spouse, girlfriend (or boyfriend....whatever floats yer boat). We're here to enjoy the day and enjoy the Lotus enthusiasm!

So this saturday in the dead of winter/rainy season we are going to have a 70° Sunny Clear day to drive newly paved twisties, next week it is supposed rain, and the next few months are historically rainy until June.....

If you don't come out for a drive, somebody in the north /north east is going to hate you because their car is stuck in the garage !

I will plan on meeting at Chuys, since even with no traffic it is a 40 or so minute drive up for me .......

But I am planning on getting up really early and cleaning all that brake dust off my wheels and, clean my window interiors so I can see. If I get done early enough I might meet you at the breakfast spot but not eat.

Excellent Jack ! 4-5 cars is a real fun group size in my opinion. Nobody gets stuck at lights or left behind like when there are 20 + cars !But the group size is big enough to be noticed as a Lotus gang. We should try to stop up on Stunt road lookout for some pictures, the views of Catalina and PV will be phenomenal I imagine , the weather today in Santa Monica was amazing, tomorrow is supposed to be better ! ( I am going to leave the hard top on till May, still lots of rain ahead the next few months and I love the way the HT looks almost as much as I like driving with the top off on a summer day )

Thank you once again Hal ! Awesome drive today, great group size - 4 cars - all with radio commnunication. Perfect weather and views, and Tuna was a blast the way we did it with the cars spaced at intervals .Thanks again , great fun group as usual !
