You'll find Terry and I with our Saffron Yellow '05 Elise shined and polished for the show. License is "STARVUE". Our exodus from the show will be 10:30 am and we'll line up on the shoulder on Mulholland for our drive.... THE DRIVE: We'll drive some of the BEST LOTUS ROADS in Santa Monica Mountains soaking up the coastal and mountain scenery and the beautiful warm Southern California sunshine! Weather? Prediction is BEAUTIFUL AND SUNNY! The drive will be approximately 2 hours at a moderate pace. YOUR pace! Our route is planned so that you can drive comfortably (especially if you are carrying a passenger) and you will not be lost. We'll end a a local restaurant for lunch so we can talk Lotus!TO BRING: Sunglasses, sunblock, drinking water, FRS Radio (optional but very convenient), camera, full tank, empty bladder! INTEREST LIST: 1. Hal & Terry '05 Else SY 2. YOU and your LOTUS SHOULD BE HERE!

Bump before it's buried deep......
Anyone?
How about the regulars? James, Jack, Kerri, Simon, Mark, Ara, Zaven?? How about the "irregulars"? How about the ellipticals, spirals or barred? A great time is guaranteed by all...... And you have the next day (Memorial Day) to appease and bar-b-que the relatives with the screaming, ingrate brats! ![]() ![]() Hope to see you Sunday! ![]() --Hal & Terry

How about the regulars? James, Jack, Kerri, Simon, Mark, Ara, Zaven?? Have to see how my schedule works out. Am flying out to look at a car tomorrow, and if everything checks out, was thinking of driving it back on Sunday. If not, then I will be in the mountains all 3 days of this week-end. |

Put me down with the ellipticals.
I've missed the last few drives due to work or the need to catch up on sleep. I'm going to try hard to make this drive. I'll be doing some traveling in June.. so, this weekend may be my last chance to drive my lotus for a while. I going to try and take advantage.

Rosie and I would love to, BUT...Formula One at 5:00 AM, and then Indy. Haven't missed one in 40 years. (Think you will find a parking spot at 8:00 AM?) We always seem to have an excuse, but we really are ready for a drive. NEXT TIME! Varoooom.

Ara:
I'm not sure 100% if I'm going to be alive Sunday. Every morning, I have to check all vital signs. That's what happens when you get old. ![]() Enjoy every moment of your precious life! Driving my Lotus is definitely on my "Bucket List"! I wish I was driving this car forty years ago! I envy everyone in LotusTalk Forum. I think you know what you have. I have to make up I missed in the last years of my life. ![]() If you are 20, 30 or 40 years old, treasure every instsant your life. Live as it's your last day! If your Lotus is a large part of your life (like mine), take advantage of driving every day you can! Hope to see you Sunday! ![]() --Hal & Terry

Thanks for James, Simon, Louis and Ryan for joining. 5 Elises driving down the road makes a IMPRESSIVE SIGHT!
If I was to get an ulcer, this is the day! The impending rain in the canyons, the omnipresence of bicycles, tracked by the CHP chopper and being dogged by (no 1, 2 3 or 4....but) FIVE police cruisers (TOGETHER!) following us everywhere....almost driving me to the breaking point! We had a nice sprited drive on Latigo Canyon! Pleasure to meet Louis and Eva. ![]() And Ryan.....you ARE a REAL person! And a great guy too! Thanks for the offer of the "desnorkeling". It was a pleasure for Terry and I finally meet you! ![]() See you June 1st! --Hal ![]()
