Hey Hal,
I have a friend that's interested in joining you guys up there this weekend if that'll be ok. I told her about the stars and you showing everyone the constellations and clusters and stuff and she wants to check it out. Let me know if it's ok and I'll tell her. Thanks! Simon

Thanks Hal,
It was another great trip as per usual. We missed you at the Flying J but, seeing a bunch of Loti pulled over by the CHP was priceless. Maybe we could do a commercial for a major credit card company. Hope to see you all on Aug. 10th. if we do not spend the weekend in the Mountains for the Big Bear Car Show. LPM 05 AR Elise--Middle age man color!! |

I've got another one of your walkie-talkies, also.

Well - we went again to Mt. Pinos last night.
![]() Last time we had to leave earlier due to our dogs. The drive up there was not as fun as with the group, but we were rewarded by some amzing sights .The whole parking lot was FULL of people! And telescopes. Huge ones. So tall you had to climb an 8ft ladder to look into them . The looked like howitzers.Hal - Kelly & I thank you and your friend very much for showing us the stars . Globular clusters, the veil nebula, stars and constellations. 20 years ago I had taken some astronomy courses - it's impressive how far the telescopes have come; night vision, computer tracking, laser pointer, much bigger optics. And we had an amazing view of Jupiter and its huge storm. Kely also thanks your firend (I'm bad with names) who answered many of her questions. The Milky Way and Andomeda were nice to behold too! With the naked eye you could see a lot of stars and then you look through binoculars and you see more stars between them and more stars in between with the telescope. Makes me feel in awe and tiny. Or maybe it's my 5'6"? So thank you and all the other nice people. ![]()

Hey Dominick,
Thanks for your comments! Your Lotus was the only one up there this time, it certainly made a scene! People swarmed around, asking the same questions and dozens of women ripped off their clothes to sit inside of the Exige (It was dark, I couldn't tell what was happening anyway)!![]() I TOLD YOU Lotus cars are BABE MAGNETS! ![]() Here's a photo we took that night. Lotus/Observatory Trip? September 28th. Are you ready? --Hal

Hi Hal,
I heard it was great yesterday. Too bad I couldn't make it but I heard Lena and Mirabel had fun. They loved it! Thanks for letting them join the event! Simon

Yes It was impressive I think some poeple set there telescopes to track the Exige People really liked it. And I'm glad I have the DRL mod![]() (the light form headlight blinds everyone and ruins pictures) People had a lot of RV's up there! It was like a star festival. >Lotus/Observatory Trip Tell me more.......!!!!
