1st Gumpert Apollo reaches US shores

And naturally, it's in California!

PICS (look at the head rests!!! they're attached to the car and not the seats!)

Gumpert Apollo takes on America, foiled by speed bump - Autoblog

VIDEO of it getting stuck on the speed bump at C&C in Irvine!!!

I know I started a couple threads today, so sorry, but I felt this was worth the post!! Car is bad ass. I'd dump my house for it...

I'd take it over a CGT, but not over a speed bump.

I like the first comment on the article... it needs a bumper sticker that says, "Seriously. No fat chicks."

Apparently when his friend got out, it was able to scale the bump.

Said it was very fast though there were too many options to fiddle with.

It set the new top gear track record.

Something called "adjustable suspension" comes to mind

One of the ugliest supercars I've ever seen. This falls into the 90's Lambourghini traps of "the more louvers and vents and crap you can put on it, the better it looks"

The interior looks like a poorly thought out kit car. The body panels look wavy as hell from the reflections. I'm sure this thing is a beast on the track, but nothing on the car "flows"

Unlike the Countach which I think you are referring to, this actually performs very well in this trim level, so that's redeeming. It's an over used term, but it really is like a race car for the street.

That's an insult to most race cars!

Don't let the Epic Fail posters find out about this thread!

Really, anytime you have people yelling "get out and push it!" at you it's automotive failure.

I rode in one last year when a local car magazine interrupted a kart test day with a photo shoot.
