If you can find a manual tranny and don't mind shifting, then go for it. Not nearly as many problems as the paddles. I decided against only because I needed this car to be my daily driver and my foot got tired of all the shifting in heavy traffic. That why I went with the E55 AMG instead.

I owned an 02 for 6 months. I loved the car, but hated the paddles. I sold it because it was very frustrating to drive in traffic. But, great in the canyons.
The mods you can do to the engine are fantastic and the tubi exhaust makes the car sound unreal. I definitely would buy another one, but only if it were a manual. BTW, there is an automatic switch, which allows you to drive in auto mode, but it seems to really wear on the clutch, and shifts at the most fuel efficient point, which causes the engine to lug. Get the 03 with the manual! You'll enjoy it. |
