$5,000 Off MSRP On All New '05' 'Vettes'...The Norm ?

While surfing the net I noted on the www.chevyusa.com
site that a dealer in Kansas controlled it. Superior Chevrolet,
in Merriam, Ks., lists the above mentioned info. Just for the
record, does the 05 'Vette' also have the new 'non-pop-up'
headlights and if so, are the 05's and 06's basically identical
cars? If true, sounds like a good deal on 'new' 05 'vettes'.

IIRC, the early 05 models were C5 with pop-up headlights, and the late 05 models were the C6. It's probably the C5 '05s going for 5k under.

'04 was the last year for the C5, so it has to be C6's. Dang, I got excited when I read $5K off MSRP - I thought it was going to be on Elises!

Makes sense. I can see some modifiers 'down the road' retrofitting
a new headlight look to replace the pop-ups on early model 05's so
that they will resemble the later model 05's.

2004 was the last year production for c5 corvette, all 2005 are c6. For the record, c6 corvettes are selling for low 40's on a used car market on ebay.

Are you guys trying to influence the market price for Corvettes too?
Just kidding Ridgeman...
I have seen several c6s for $5000 or so off MSRP on ebay recently.

someone got a deal on this one for $38K used

on the other hand places in line for Z06s seem to be going for about 8K
