I want to adopt this guy, and just have him take care of my cars. I'll feed him, give him a nice place to live..heck I'd buy him a lady once in a while if he wanted.

Wow...just...wow.... as a car detailing nut (as I'm sure many of us are) this is simply impressive work. And in a really short amount of time too.

Uhhh....

They didn't take the wheels off to wash them? That is BS!

I even remove my wheels to wash them...

55 hours? What were they doing for all that time?

I was surprised about the wheels, as well. But there's also a posting of a guy detailing a Veyron, and it was similar (no wheels-off cleaning). My guess is, that they don't want to remove or alter major structural elements of the car, for liability reasons (maybe their insurance policy/bond has this stipulation...who knows ?)

Re: the 55 hours, I think that's not bad, considering all the steps. I say, if you can do it for less, go for it

Love the result! But even after three years' daily-driver usage my car didn't look as bad as that one, which was still in its infancy. That said, I'd love to have that guy come over and do my car. Hopefully, he'd do the work for a few beers and camaraderie. At the very least, I wouldn't mind some tutelage; I've always been afraid to use anything other than my hand and a pad to apply/remove polish/wax.

Wow. Nothing beats a good machine polish. I keep meaning to get a Porter Cable with some pads but never seem to get around to it. Watching this, I think I will put my order in...

I think there's still some leftover break dust left on the inner part of the wheels.

+1 for removing them for cleaning, especially for a job this complex.

Sad. Yet another garage queen to drive to the local cool spot for show and tell. Shame shame. When I get my Gallardo, bet your fancy pants I will drive it until the wheels fall off. Buy high...sell cheap! Hate garage queen types. What a waste. Buy a Prius ya bastids!

Here's a Lambo owner who's feeling the pain of the slowing economy. He couldn't afford a 55 hour detail, so he uses public washing facilities
