Anyone ever seen a supercharger on a subie 2.5L engine?

Just asking a very innocent question lol. I don't know enough about the math and maps to figure out what a TVS would do on a 2.5liter (EJ25) engine - mebbe like the one in my STi? How close to the top end power (~500hp) could it get compared to what I'm about to get with my turbo conversion I'm about to do? Again I just don't know enough about the new gen superchargers to know if they could bridge the gap between response and overall power.

there is a twincharged (super+turbo) ej series motor build up on the interwebs somewhere. My thoughts are that turbos are better for big power, espescially these days when even big turbos spool pretty quickly. SC may have slightly better throttle response potential but I think that bennifit is exagerated by many.............

Yeah I been debating this a lot. I spend time in the Lotus and I'm like wow...perfect linear delivery and predictable power. I get in the subie and it's like super fast spooling turbo, gobs of torque, but like a backwards power curve. I don't mind in the subie since it's mainly for the street but there are times when the crazy torque spike is unnerving in corners and the like. I am about to go with a Tomei turbo and a2w intercooler to see how responsive I can get the throttle with the least plumbing possible, just thinking out loud if anyone has done a TVS on an EJ25.
