Blacked Out Prius - LotusTalk

Because of the insane amount of miles I've been putting on my daily drivers, I decided to take the plunge and buy the economical, and LA Trendy, Prius. During the last month, I've had everything blacked out. The next step is the Shark Fin Antenna -- not sure about whether or not to tint the headlights. What are your thoughts?

Drop in a Chevy 350 with a supercharger instead. It just bolts on.

Definitely tint the headlights, you've blacked out everything else and besides, it never really gets that dark in LA. Maybe do something about those lugnuts, too!

You should paint the rings that go on the outside of the rims and put them back on. Its sounds funny but when you take the rings off you loose 1-1.5 mpg's. Im a prius certified master tech and they actually talked about that in training.

Congrats on the prius... but

Coulda got one of these! They actually look like a real car. Got it for the stickers - saves me 30 min a day in traffic. I actually really like it as a DD, works well and is a good car

Tinted head lights has to be one of the dumbest ideas out there. Most people and car companies strive to get brighter headlights for safety and darkening them just seems so dumb. Even dark tail lights are a danger to you since it makes it much harder to see when you are stopping, specially with so many distractions people already have in their cars. Be safe man.
