The GT2 disappeared mid-way through the video - LOL! Sure was fast on the straight-away though. Nice video!

Wow. that was wonderful. Thanks for this.

That Porsche is awfully fast on the straights. The only car I've driven that could out-handle the 7 I had was a formula car.

BTW, if anyone is wondering about drivers's skill levels (that 7 driver was def not on his 1st lap there), there is the video with Sabine in porsche and managing only a draw with a 7, same page.

thats some pretty sweet driving on a very unforgiving track

as a side note, he would be significantly faster on the straights without the windshield and with the little "brooklands" strap variant in place - I can't drive worth crap and I can easily notice the difference

You are both correct and modest.

My X-flow 7 got really sluggish at 90+ mph. I had clamshells tho, prob hurt.

Yeah, serious good save at 3:51. Smart to get on the power and get some weight on those rear wheels.

After watching the Cat's POV, I'd love to see the GT2's Cam.

How to turn your GT2 into a drag racer.... Tangle with a Cat R500

I did a track session with a Caterham at Cal Speedway... I was hitting 130mph on the banking... the Caterham driver said he was aero limited at 115mph... yet I was only 6/10ths of a second faster overall...

What engine was in the car?

An R500 is good for 140-150mph

Edit: I see you added the chart, the car had 160hp, might have been a base Zetec or a built X-Flow. R500 w/Duratec is about 273hp

Edit again: figured out who's car it was. It was a fairly tuned Zetec, but he never seemed to get the power out of it he wanted. He also had the 5-speed which is more of touring gearbox and doesn't make the most of the power. He just sold the car and has an R500 coming in a few months, so watch out
