DOWNFORCE widebody NSx: SEMA project build documentary~!!! - LotusTalk

i was asked to go ahead and build a second NSX for this year's 2006 SEMA show for ARK performance. i used my 1995 nsx-t as the platform and began the build. just like the lambo orange widebody, we used almost the same setup, but this time with a few more carbon accents....

DOWNFORCE provided most of the aero parts along with SCIENCE OF SPEED for a few accessories. the car JUST left the body shop today, and we have a little under a month to still complete: brembo big brakes, recaro seats, type r carpet, steering wheel, audio, and few other goodies before SEMA...

the color used on this NSX was the beloved GRIGIO AVLON (seen on bruce wayne's murcielago)... i honestly have to say the lambo colors are hands down the BEST automotive colors in the world... of course used tastefully... (which i hope i have)... but enjoy the pictures...

I agree; It looks like your work is top notch. However, that rear view of the kit especially seems over the top.

Nice car, not my thing but I and appreciate the fitment issues and work in it. Do yourself a favor with sopending so much money and effort ona body kit, don't put down as one of your mods an oil cap! BAH! You don't need me to tell you that, I am sure you already know it. Good luck at Sema, may you get all the attention you want

In my opinion, this is probably the best looking kit I have seen for the NSX. Im getting an 05 pretty soon and I want to put this kit on it but I cant find it any where. I have looked on that science for speed website and a couple of other ones but there all a little different and none of them come with the side canards. Did you make this entire body kit yourself???

after I figured out that Downforce was the name of the company, not the goal of the body pieces, looks like great work! Like they said, not my style, but great work!

Yes I know that some of the bodywork will increase downforce, or negative lift as the text books say, but the majority of it is for bling only.
