Just test drove a 370Z
It was a very nice car, much more refined than my Lotus, but my VF II is much faster. As a matter of fact, I was surprised how much difference there was. It might take me on top end, but 0-60 and the quarter mile, it would definitely be in my rear view mirror.

Yeah and the 370 does not have the wow factor of your lotus either.

i drove a 370 and it seemed much slower than my plain old NA elise. not a very exciting car at all IMHO. not to mention the dealer spent more time asking me about my car than he spent telling me about his

...a first-time novice brought a 370 to last month's autocross and absolutely dominated his class - i don't know if it was stock, nor if the driver had previous experience elsewhere, but he was very fast...

I test drove the 370z too, ended up buying a 135i. I didn't like the seating position, visibility, double-clutch tranny and pedal setup (can't heel-toe and there's no need to), and the feel of the brakes.
![]() Can't really comment on body roll, I thought it was rather stiff. Not Lotus stiff, but as stiff or stiffer than the 135i.

I was seriously looking into the 370Z before getting my S2000 CR. I test drove it a few times and just can't get excited driving it. It is a nice car for the price but just feel so big and heavy. Its also extremely wide. With all that power the car doesn't feel all that fast. Maybe it is fast but you just don't feel it. There is also an overheating issue which I'm not sure they solved yet. Most people that tracks it need to buy an aftermarket oil cooler.

If a newbie in a 370Z comes out and dominates your auto-x your region must suck badly. It's a B-stock car and probably still not even the car to have. Any good driver in an equally prepped S2000, Z06, Elise, Solstice GXP etc should be faster

Yup, test drove it a few months back, liked it, very nice handling, and the synchrorev is, well, neat. But coming from an STI, I expected it to have stronger acceleration. Still, overall a nice car.
I've also seen one NISMO edition driving around, they look great in person, but I've read average reviews.
