I think buying a car based on what is does is better then buying a car based on how many are around your location.

Seems like the Ipod would be a flop if everyone thought like that...
I think the same as he does. I don't want to drive what everyone else drives. Why I drive the cars I do. Porsche, don't know why but I have always hated them. The looks alone are just terrible and let alone you see 100+ a day. Again just IMO.

Lotus I bought because it was my dream car since I was a young little lad and I believe in the philosophy of the car.

However my DB7 was because I wanted something nice that was not seen everyday. I laugh when I pull up to a light in everyday traffic and I see 2+ cars sitting right next to eachother; Even more when they are the same color.

Agreed, unfortunately I dont have the financial capability of affording the best of both worlds (Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lambo) and Ive got the speed bug like noone else.....The Lotus, even turbo @ 10PSI, just doesn't do it for me, and rather than blow this car up striving for more power, I will probably trade it this fall for the most common of sports cars, the corvette.

While I care DEEPLY about being unique, Ive found that, the need for speed(Pardon the cliche) far out weighs my need for uniqueness. I will just have to customize the vette inside and out so its 100% ME and not your everyday redneck ferrari.
