Unless they make more than 500 of them for Lotus...

My plan is to dress as a leprechaun and stand at the side of the road with an engine crane and a crowbar.

The cops will waste valuable time breathalyzing the driver after he tells them a leprechaun stole his engine and I'll be able to make an escape.

You're right Tom. I should have specified the EXTERIOR leaves me flat. The F1 derived engine does sound cool.

I was at an autocross event and talked to a really nice guy who is an exec at Toyota. He was admiring my Elise and I said thanks for a great engine ! I mentioned the Evora having a Toyota 6 but that the Esprit is rumored to be getting a BMW powerplant . Turns out he knew quite a bit more about the Toyota / Lotus relationship than I thought, he knew a lot of the 2ZZ team, and he had been over to Hethel several times, and he said, I should not rule out the idea of the Toyota LFA engine in the Esprit. He also mentioned that the LFA was on it's way to the ring, and a few days later I saw the press coverage !

6'3" Minor technicality. Maybe I can order a leprechaun singing telegram to distract the driver at his home while I crowbar the engine out in his garage. I'd even scatter little chocolate filled gold coins around the hole I tore in the hood =)

I'm honored about the sig, but you're missing the silent "h" in "Cthulhu"

It's okay, the tallest Midget was 7' 4".
But what you COULD do, is hire a ticked off midget ginger to hold up a sign saying "Will give directions to pot of gold for food" and while they're doing such a transaction, you jack the engine then.

Or you could go Ninja Leprechaun, and have Shamrock shaped Shuriken and lethally eliminate the Driver, then drive away as if nothing happened.

And Sig edited master.

If you saw an LFA and didn't know what it was, you would guess it was a new $90,000 Supra to compete with a GTR, not an exotic.

Whereas if you see a Lotus, you'd think it was some kinda Alien Insect hellbent on destroying the earth, one twisty at a time, rather than a pinnacle of engineering.

They ruined the new McLaren when they failed to design a race car. No third pedal? Psssh, keep it.

One of only two rotary weavers in existence, which was repurposed to create the carbon fiber A-pillars on the LFA. Pretty cool.

maybe, but I still don't think this is anything but an engineering exercise for Lexus. In Leno's case, he just has too much money and needs reasons to spend it...
