Wife Swapping???

Hey, forget trading for sex!!! I want to trade for a wife who's into CARS!!!

My wife is trying to get me to get rid of my leased Audi RS-4 and put me in a Jeep Commander!!! She wants to make sure that the 2 times a year I would actually need to shuttle the 3 kids and their friends around that I have a car to do it!!!

I can't conceive of my wife EVER EVER doing something like that. Fortunately for us, money's not the issue (we both work and do pretty well). It's the concept, and she just doesn't get it. Sigh.

SO, I did what every red blooded married guy would have done. I screamed and yelled and then begged and pleaded and promised to wash the dishes and clean up the yard for a year...

I'll get what I want eventually (RS4 AND an Elise), but she'll torture me endlessly to get there.

She's amazing with everything else - I just wish she understood the car thing...

-Matt

congrats! all i ever got from my wife was a wallet when we were first dating. i'd have a smile up to my ears if she ever surprised me with a car... doesn't matter what kind... it's the thought that counts =)

You are very lucky. Enjoy the car. I'm interested in hearing how the swap goes.

car looks pristine. why turn it into race car? if i had something old, precious, and in excellent condition, i would just keep it that way. you'll never it might be worth a lot more in the future when you won't be able to find those cars in mint condition. in the lambo forums, there was an extremely mint 928S and they were asking $98K
