New Daily Driver! - LotusTalk

Well with winter around the corner here in New England I spent the day cleaning up the new daily driver. Just had it delivered from Missouri a few weeks ago. It's an 05 w/ 53k on the clock. Just put fresh tires on it and will do brakes and all the fluids this coming week.

Has a nifty K&N intake that screams and overall is just an awesome truck. Definitely a big upgrade from my 99 Frontier that I sold not that long ago.

Next up is some shots with the Lotus next to it.

Since the truck was a mess the past few weeks I never noticed the awesome metallic nature of the paint....

You got Mass. plates on that right quick. Did you get the 6 speed?

Nope went for the automatic since it's my daily and will be used in traffic. Went for comfort kind of.

I have the exact same truck in the LE version...same color also (it's called Storm Gray ). Did you get the Rockford Fosgate system?

Nice! Yes I did, that was a must have option for me. I teetered back and forth between the LE and NISMO...honestly it just depended on price and locale more than anything. I kind of wanted the LE with leather seats/heated/rockford, but went for NISMO solely because I got it for a great price.

I was similarly torn when I was looking, but opted for the LE. Mine does not have the leather and such, as I don't think it would do well in my line of work. The RF system is the best system I've ever heard in a truck, and better than most cars I've ever been in as well. I installed an iPod kit available from the dealer which made it all that much better.
I also have one of these installed: Truck Covers USA - Tonneau Truck and Bed Covers (the roll cover) which I highly recommend.
