It's kinda cool and ugly at the same time. Very Anime-esque. Everytime I look at it my mind tells me it's backwards.

Cool ugly.
I don't see any style relationship between the old and new, maybe the driveline?
Carbon fiber and a bubble top? Not a likely production vehicle as is.
Still the design has a BMW/Isetta kind of cool.

Interestingly, I see a lot of similarity between the designs, but not in any specific element.
