Porsche 911 RS America Review
Picked up this road test of a 1993 Porsche RS America from another car forum and was struck by how similar the comments about this car are to those in the media as to current Lotus products.

Saw one on fire at an AutoZone (owner hooked up new battery backwards). I put the fire out with the extinguisher from my Lotus...
Electrical fire in engine bay, melted the wires into the AC lines (I think), melted plastic of the fan shroud fell down into the fan. |

Pretty surprised by the trap speed of that car 105 isn't bad. That's like a stock Cayman S

I believe the 964 version of the Turbo had a base MSRP of $99k
Not coincidentally, the base MSRP of the 993 Turbo (in 1995) was also $99k (a total steal... and I stole one!)
