Porsche Boxter exhaust

I was stopped at a light behind a boxter and couldn't stop looking at that single wide exhaust pipe. I think there should be a name for that.

I nominate "gunt" - for Goofy UNderside Tubing.

Any other suggestions?

My friend literally didn't buy one because he said it looked like the car's butthole.

They have some really nice exhaust upgrades, which is probably why the stock setup looks aweful.

...it's really not that different from an exige exhaust - i happen to have one that i've toyed with the notion of putting on my elise only because the single tip feels a little more honest than the dual tips...

...but yes, a friend up in austin hated the back of the boxster for the same reason, in her words, that it looked like a butthole...

That's how I can tell the difference between a Boxster, and Boxster S. The S doesn't have that ugly exhaust.

I had a '99 Boxster and thought of hanging this a little before the exhaust tip.

From the first time I saw that car new I thought it was vary bad looking, and made the car look like it had an ass hole. Like some dog walking around, old one eye.
Need some poop under that stock exhaust. Photo shop anyone?

Is that your car in the reflection on the Boxster?

Isn't that what an exhaust is?

There are some good looking exhaust systems for the Boxster/Cayman. AWE Tuning makes the one in the picture.
