Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe Could Sell for EIGHT figures?!!
Mecum is selling a 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe (CSX2601) at auction in May. They estimate it will sell for well into EIGHT figures.
Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe Could Break Auction Record | Sports Car Digest Is that possible? I remember the Ferrari 250 TR that was expected to do the same. I know they are rare, but in this economy....wow. |

I think it will reach that... people buying this type of car are not too affected by the current economy.

I can see it selling for eight figures, probably to a Morgan Stanley banker whose bonus money came from the bailout funds.
Some people (a very small minority, admittedly) are swimming in money these days. They have to spend it on something. Hell, a 1911 Matisse painting just sold for over 40 million. Tom |
