I like it, even though it does kind of remind me of a 370Z mixed with a DB9.

Prototypes of the LFA took part in the 2008 and 2009 24-h-race at the Ring. The sound is awesome, incredible, worth at least 250,000 Euro. So for the difference of 125,000 you will get a reasonably priced sports car.

+1

At 350k I wonder who will be a buyer. It's kind of like VW coming out with the Phaeton. At that price point a lot of people are concerned about image and would rather buy a Ferrari or Lambo. If it was GTR priced I could see it doing well. Hmmm...

And the article says Lexus claims it will lose money at the $350,000 price point. IIRC, Mitsubishi lost money on every 3000GT they made when they brought it out, but back then, Mitsubishi really needed a "halo" car. Does Lexus really need one? Are the typical Lexus buyers inspired by cars at all?

I can think of a better way to lose money - how about 5000 copies of $35,000 2800lbs Supra's with 450bhp?

I'm not a big fan of the Japanese supercar look. They just don't give me that "I NEED to have this" feeling. Too awkward and angular.

Sounds suprisingly like an elise with a stage 2 exhaust in a way - obviously it can't make up for 6 less cylinders but...

The looks don't do it for me, I'm sure it's an amazing vehicle though, but not $350K worth for that appearance.

Ouch, from some angles looks like someone slapped a kit on a supra. I'm sure it performs great, but not even worth $200K coming from Japan.
