Until it reached a bend.
![]() Reminded me a bit of what the Zonda did to the Murcielago. (5:45 or so for the drag race) I'd still pick the Zonda over it, but I'd have mine with a roof.

D@mn the Veyron is a pig. Big fat and ugly, but a fast pig.

I don’t know what it is about the Veyron, it doesn’t do anything for me. I don’t know why?!
Although the interior is a little overdone, that exterior on that Zonda is so sexy. hmmmmmmmmm... Carbon Fiber |

I felt that way about the Veyron upon its introduction, but now I am enamored by it because it really is an astounding showcase of technology. It's probably worth 3 times its actual price. The engineering and technology is unparalleled.

SSC ultimate aero is faster (from what i've heard). No point, just wanted to make sure if others have heard the same thing i've heard about the ccxr being faster than the veyron.

Probably is if driven properly... With a full tank of ethanol, it makes 1018hp and weighs 1500 lbs less than the Veyron. It'd probably be a close race!

When Top Gear drove the Veyron to test it's maximum speed they commented on how undramatic and stable it was a those speeds. An amazing technological accomplishment, that I don't know if any other super car can boast.

guys.. the veyron is a sculpture. that zonda, ccx, aero, etc, the veyron is has great lines, a stylish and well appointed inside. a huge work of art in the back... and a techno tour de force.
now, an exposed carbon body is pretty to look at, and those fancy switches in them other cars are gimmicky.. airplane inspired? get a spyker... i like the veyron so much, i had my own air brakes installed on my lotus.. if the veyron was slower then a mini, id still lust after it!. |

I wonder how much driver skill played a part in that race. I mean The Stig DID beat James May once by taking public transportation.
