The ugliest car ??? - LotusTalk

I saw a PT Cruiser convertible yesterday and every time I see one with the top up I cant believe how ugly it is. There is a reason why on the chrysler website there are no pics with the top up...

so it gets my vote for the ugliest car that you can buy today....

dissenting opinions welcome

Pontiac Aztek, WINNER of the Uglymobile of the century award!

I think they re-hired the design team from the AMC Pacer and the Gremlin to make this one!

With the possible exception of the Solstice, I don't remember seeing one good looking car out of GM.
Are they that cheap to hire decent designers?

A friend of mine said the convertible PT looks like a bathtub. I found it extremely funny.

It's interesting how much of a difference a convertible top can make on the looks of a car. Not that the PT Cruiser is a show stopper in hardtop, but take the 350Z for instance. I think they did a great job with it, but when you look at the roadster version...gross.

I think GM's HHR copy of the PT Cruiser is even uglier than the PT, but there is a lot of ugly out there.

The Subaru Tribeca is so ugly that they don't even show the front view in commercials. Return of the Edsel?

Subaru has a lot of ugly cars. Even the WRX is ugly.
They want you to buy their (good) cars despite their ugliness...

My buddy used to cruise for chicks in a salvaged Opel Cadet wagon. It looked similar to a VW square back but with a tiny wee-little motor and different primer all over it.

Makes the Gremlin look like a chick magnet to me.
