70's cars
Didn't he say "currently available cars"? I took that as meaning currently produced for consumption.

Indeed he did, but I've been seeing pics of a lot of older cars so I forgot about it.
Anybody nominated the "shoebox" (AKA Scion xB)? It doesn't bother me but most people I know can't stand the sight of it...

Andri, I kind of wanted to direct that at the whole thread, but you can't quote a pic, so I chose your post! I left your name out because I didn't want you to feel like I was singling you out.

I'm not bothered by them. To me, it makes sense that midgets should have their own hearses.

Toyota Prius. I don't care if it runs on fairy dust or what famous slag drives one, it's still freakin ugly.

The original Europa always made me want to hurl. (The new one is OK, IMHO.)

Used to have a friend with a '69 federalized Europa that we had a lot of fun working on. I still love the look of those original Europas, though I like the Elise look even better (not that I'm partial )

NOT sure why that look makes you feel so nauseous.

Whew, I saw a Tribeca this morning, and that mutha gives the Aztek a run for it's money in the ugliness department. From the side it's as vanilla as any other SUV out there but a direct front or rear view is hideous. How do vehicles like these make it out of the concept stage?

Then I saw some of overgrown HHR minivan type thing, looked just like the HHR but bigger. Sooooo generic looking. Where is GM hiring these reject designers from? I know a lot of creative high school and college kids, give em a few bongs hits every once in awhile and I'm sure they'll work for cheap and turn out better looking stuff while taking a crap.

I would also add Scion xB -- the cube van. Does anyone have any idea what the appeal is of this vehicle to some people?

And it's versatile - looks butt-ugly from either end.
