The amount of resources that show uses always amazes me.

I do know how willing the us marines would be to staging an entire beach landing involving choppers, landing craft, and 100 men, along with explosions and blank rounds.

I'd think that would depend on the show - Top Gear is truly iconic program and often get assistance from the UK armed forces. Off the top of my head I remember the Exige vs Apache, Land Rover Vs Tank, Veyron vs Harrier(?), SLK/Boxter vs Snipers, etc....

I LOVED watching the modern Blues Brothers with a VETTE Vs the Fiesta... freaking genius.

how the hell they got that cheap ass car through water that deep without stalling... "Woops, there's a slight leak over there..."

they should have set off a grenade in the car for the big finale

those guys rule.
