Any ex-Integra Type R owners here? A true 'factory race car'.

I had a 98 Type R that my dad bought brand new. He bought a 2001 yellow Type R and I bought the 98 from him. I had it 4 years, the longest I ever had a car. It was extremely difficult to part with!

I think the Countach was the most unique bedause they only imported 12 Countach's with carburator's in 1986 and this is the only one in Pearl White.

Can't make up our mind? Or do you just have so much money it doesn't much matter? That's less than a year per car... please tell.

So does a Datsun Z count as a Nissan Z? I've had two of those... come to think of it, one of them had both names on it. ('79, right at the transition to Nissan)

jeeeeeeez you aren't adopting are you?

I'm a 23 yr old male that is house broken and can do lots of amusing tricks

The results seem pretty typical. There are more 911 owners then I thought. Seemed like there were more former MR2 owners as well.

No surprises here. It looks as if most of us are secure in our manhood/womanhood. As of this writing (Elise ahead by a large margin) second place is the Miata, third is Porsche 911, fourth is the MR2, fifth is the Mini.

My thoughts so far: Many of us like small, relatively modest powered sports cars. Of course the Porsche 911 doesn't completely fall into this category unless you go back a couple of decades.

Funny you should ask. AttAkker just bought a Noble and he was wondering how many Nobles would show up here.

Again, there are a number of cars that I really wanted to put on this list, but with a limit of 20 vehicles, some had to hit the cutting room floor. I desperately wanted to put the Jeep Wrangler on the list. But in the end, I limited the list to two-door, two-seat sports cars (you can hardly call them back seats in a few of these cars) that were most likely to have been owned.

Are there any gross omissions that anybody can think of, besides the Noble, of course?

You forgot Lotus or other brand of Seven. Many Elise/Exige owners have or had a Seven.

I really like the looks of the very early Countachs, pre- wheel flairs/wings etc. (P5000?)

I've had 7 Lotuses.
3 S2 Europas
2 Elites (new)
1 Lotus Cortina

Oh yeah, a couple of SAAB Sonetts (the early type V4), sold one to Satch Carlson, which is a story in itself.
I also forgot to put in the Elise, since I was thinking of cars owned BEFORE the Elise.

Mark
