Would you rather drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini?
Specifically a 2011 Ferrari 458 italia or a 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder (.......convertible......)?
I have the choice to drive one or the other but not both and on public roads not a track. I personally am leaning more towards the Lambo the only reason I'm hesitant is because its a convertible and I'm not the biggest fan of soft tops plus its a bit slower since its a convertible. What would you choose if you could pick?

This is simple. They are both amazing cars.
Drive the one that makes you giggle just to look at. You can't choose wrong. I have had the privilege to drive the Lamborghini Gallardo and it was surprising in its so little of a diva! Drove like a exotic car should drive. (if you drive though a tunnel dont forget to roll the windows down, turn off the stereo, and enjoy sound!) I dont lust after Ferrari's. I appreciate them technically, but emotionally, I think they are overrated. Except the 458. This is what a Ferrari should look like. If it drives anything like it looks, wow!

The reason I'm wanting to drive Ferrari is because it is slightly faster, and the reason I want to drive the Lambo is because IMHO Lamborghini is one step above Ferrari. I've never driven anything near either of these cars, the fastest car I've driven is my supercharged mustang but these cars probably have my mustang by at least a second or more in the quarter mile... I'm still leaning towards the lambo but I know that no matter which car I pick I'm going to be thinking about what the other would be like. The lambo is much more exotic looking, but I can't get over the fact it's a dang soft top on a lambo (no offense to anyone with a soft top, just not my personal style.)
@zen dude - so cool to see your sporting a Mazda B2000 still, my first vehicle was a '92 b2200, I sold it and have regretted that. Loved that thing |

Lambo. I only like one Ferrari, and it is the one you have the chance to drive, but I am way more a fan of the lambo. I do not care for the appearance, or notion the Ferraris give off.

Jeremy Clarkson said on some episode of Top Gear something like:
"If you drive a Ferrari you need to have a look of sophistication on your face. In a Lamborghini you can look like an escaped mental patient" I'd prefer the latter

If you are doing this because of the driving experience, pick the Ferrari. The sound alone is worth it.
If however you are planning to take lots of people for rides, then pick the softtop Lambo. It is much easier to snap cool photos without your passenger needing to get out of the car. You might think that this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Four years ago, I also did a once-in-a-lifetime rental of a Ferrari 360 and since then have rented: - A cobra replica - A G2 three-wheeler - A 1966 Mustang - A Viper and of course picked up an Elise.

Are you talking about 0-60? If you're talking about top speed, it's a mute point since you will be driving the car on public streets. Not a bad problem to have. I don't think you can lose either way Congrats on your soon to be exciting experience. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App

No convertible, hence the Fezza. Lambo Gallardo 560-2 with manual worth a thought though, design much cleaner than the Fezza and appears to have more soul with the manual.
