This is old news to the New York City exotic car scene. This accident happened many months ago. The dealership tried to cover it up too...

Supposedly the car is being repaired at the factory in Sweden. That particular car had a sticker price (options and all) of $985k!

Not too many people get to own one, or even get to drive or ride in one. Now that's something that guy can scratch off his list.
Wonder what kind of loaner car the customer got after this from the dealer?
Reminds me of that story a few years back of where that kid took out his dad's Enzo (I think thats how it went) and totalled it scattering the wreckage quite a few yards on the road.

If it really was Manhattan Motorcars... I was never offered a loaner when I brought my car in for service... but then again... it's Manhattan, your "loaner" is painted yellow and has a meter and a foul smell...

Cheers, __________________ SIMPLE RECIPE FOR EXCITEMENT: Take 1 new Exige. Throw in a supercharger. Add 6 gears. A dash of 94 Octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan. And finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Lotus Exige'S' and full satisfaction. Hammer Down!!
