Most folks have used the suspension as a tie down point. There hasn't been enough of a load on it to be a issue.

Heard its a good 8 lbs lighter then stock.

MW- is Shinoo going to let you have it back?

When they run my car (Miata so far) on the smog dynos, they install a "clamp" (basically fancy wheel chocks) on the front tires. I'd never tie down a Lotus by the suspension if I could possibly help it - they tend to be fragile...

Let me rephrase. I will never give it back. It is...the coolest...exhaust...system...ever!!!

And I dont just play a Sector111 sales person on TV

But really, I am soooo impressed with these exhaust systems out of Japan. I insist on quality, and there is no compromise in quality with these systems. They are well worth the money. Looking at the competition is laughable...its like comparing apples and oranges. These systems not only look good, but they sound and perform amazing!!!

It did concern me a bit about the suspension when I was at the shop, but I let it go. I dont see any damage or bending so all should be well. Wheel chocks sound good though...maybe next time.

Nice results, thanks for posting. I'd like to see a smoothed chart instead of that seizure chart though

pretty solid gains.

One thing to note is exhaust gains vs stock, when coupled with an intake generally dont produce the same amount together, than when testing either vs stock.

for example

stock vs cone filter intake = 5-6whp
stock exhaust vs aftermarket exhaust = 3-4whp

stock vs cone filter + exhaust = 7-8

Most of the 2zz's respond really well to the first mod over stock, then the rest are usually pretty mediocre.

Also for example (one of our club's cars was the test car for the dc sports header)

stock vs dc was about 10 whp plus on the high cam. We were there when they ran the car, we know the dyno wasn't modified.

Re-installed aem cai, removed stock muffler, installed pfc and re-tuned for new dc sports header total gain over baseline = 2-3whp.

food for thought

But this is raw data!!! This way you can see the error. I'm big on reporting errors...again, the scientist in me. This is also why I posted the 3 runs so you can see the variability between runs.

Really, I'll try to get better charts. I was just so excited by the results that I had to post.

Stock diffuser, no mods needed. Fits perfectly.

I'll try to find my photos, I'd posted previously.

On sale right now for $1000. We've got 5 left I think. Next container full of Arqray's floats in next month sometime.

I have one too, and love it! I thought it was just a lighter-weight musical instrument, but now I find out that it actually helps the car scoot along. Cool.

I hate the goddam threads like this. I can feel my credit card getting itchy, begging to be pulled out of my wallet. The computer starts talking to me, in Lillie's voice, going, "Do it, big boy, do it."
