Is this the exhaust that's in the sound clips on your website as Arqray twin muffler? Any problem with noise levels at competition events where they monitor db level? Have any db measurements? Thanks.

Yes, we have sound clips of this exhaust posted here: http://store.sector111.com/exsocl.html Unfortunately, I do not have db records yet. Mikester's equipment wasnt working last time we tried to test it out. It's slightly quieter than the Arqray twin tip, and is the quietest exhaust Arqray makes. Mikester recorded some audio of the Ti twin tip (111s style) muffler with the sport cat here: http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8192. So the noise level of this system should be similar, maybe quieter. I havent used my car in a noise restricted event yet. But if Stage 2 can pass, this one certainly will.

Here are the pics of 3 Arqray exhaust systems. Please note that it will look so much better without the heat shield wrapped around at the bend (4th photo w/o heat shield). Please do not comment on the wing since this photo was taken as a demo photo. It was taped on and it is not on my car. I have a benetec wing on my car.

We might have to get Lillie a chair to go with that whip…. then again we may end up with even more guys lining up.
Back to the other topic. Yup, the Arquray dual SS muffler is the at the top of my list for exhaust. But it may take more then a whip and chair to get me to breakdown and get one anytime soon. ![]() |

I for one am a fan of the unsmoothed dyno runs. I am also a fan of seeing multiple runs from the same set of modifications. In comparing the averages between the two sets it makes it easy to spot the real performance data. AFR and a few of the standard OBD2 parameters would make for an interesting addition to the posted dyno plots. As for using the suspension as a tie down point, this is one serious advantage of our Dynapack system that I had not considered. I know that I would be uncomfortable using my rear suspension as a tie down for my car in stock a few of these exhaust systems to corroborate the performance data.
